Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments and care plans in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
Qualifications
- Current Kentucky RN license (or compact license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience (new graduates accepted)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (EPIC experience preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
