Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment procedures
- Assess patient conditions using clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient observations and care actions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, OSHA standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio or compact state
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
