Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, alerting physicians to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
