Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide compassionate patient advocacy and educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to adhering to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards.
