Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and treatment according to established nursing protocols and hospital policies.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, reporting any significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medication regimens, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
