Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in clinical status.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately in the EHR system.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida (FL).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
