Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders with precision and care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously, promptly reporting any significant changes or adverse reactions.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner within electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication regimens, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that complies with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS certification preferred based on unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and ethical nursing standards.
