Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses and documenting all interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital standards.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to manage acute situations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License issued by the State of Wisconsin.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred, though new graduates with excellent clinical rotations will be considered.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and diverse staff.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
