Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough physical assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including charting, assessments, and incident reports.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changing patient conditions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Strong patient-centric attitude with the ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism.
- Technology: Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
