Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs by gathering data and reviewing medical history.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive nursing care plan tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR).
