Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff in performing medical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Active, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a high-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a strong desire to learn.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as necessary.
