Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Respond to patient calls and emergencies promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods.
