Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of experienced charge nurses and physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories accurately and in a timely manner.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed providers, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and update individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Assist in emergency response situations, ensuring patient safety and rapid stabilization when needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Demonstrated compassion, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and perform essential nursing tasks.
