Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments of patient health status and needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document patient observations, interventions, and responses in electronic health records (EHR).
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Health Education: Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Experience: New Graduates or Entry-Level candidates welcomed to apply.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
