Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
- Monitor Patient Health: Accurately measure and record vital signs, pain levels, and patient responses to treatment.
- Medication Management: Assist in the administration of medications and monitor for any adverse reactions or side effects.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Collaborate with Teams: Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient emergencies and assist in code situations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- Experience: No prior clinical experience required; New Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Strong empathy and patient-centered care philosophy.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and perform physical tasks as needed.
