Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
  • Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and interventions accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, CNAs) to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, discharge instructions, and preventative care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas, or eligibility to sit for the NCLEX.
  • CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
