Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the charge nurse or physician.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with triage and emergency response procedures during high-volume shifts.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license issued by the State of Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Must possess or be willing to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications prior to start date.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
