Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care under the supervision of experienced charge nurses and physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities immediately to the nursing staff.
- Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and post-care management.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and professionalism in previous clinical rotations or volunteer work.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care standards, and regulatory compliance.
