Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Care: Monitor patient health status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and assist in critical situations.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow hospital protocols, safety regulations, and quality assurance measures at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are specifically seeking new graduates or those transitioning into nursing.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
