Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
- Assist in triage and emergency response procedures during critical care situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California (or eligibility for compact license).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN, BSN, or MSN) within the last 12 months.
- Completion of NCLEX with a passing score.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
