Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical status, recognizing and reporting changes in condition immediately.
- Provide direct patient care and education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care management.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality patient outcomes in both Charlotte and Virginia facilities.
- Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or Virginia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
