Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care in accordance with clinical protocols
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and monitor treatment progress
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active New Mexico RN license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Pass NCLEX exam (or scheduled to take within 3 months)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous clinical rotations or internships preferred but not required
