Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of licensed charge nurses.
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and recording medical history and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation in EHR.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with triage and emergency response procedures during critical situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the State of Ohio (or eligible for reciprocity).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a strong desire to learn from experienced mentors.
