Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify healthcare needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely using electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nursing research projects.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient safety.
- Must be willing to float to different units based on departmental needs.
