Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and responses to treatment accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healing environment for all patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred, ADN accepted).
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient safety.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
