Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units (Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or Emergency)
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions under physician supervision
- Document patient assessments and care plans using Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to JCAHO, OSHA, and hospital safety protocols
- Attend weekly residency workshops and simulation training
Qualifications
- California RN license (or actively pursuing via NCLEX)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within last 12 months
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
