Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care across diverse medical units under preceptor guidance
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations per established protocols
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize treatment outcomes
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse license (RN)
- ADN or BSN degree from accredited nursing program (graduating in 2023-2024)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
