Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings under supervision
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance plans
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN)
- Active Missouri RN license or eligibility
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam (or scheduled)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to professional development
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
