Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units under clinical supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and outcomes in electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Active New York State RN license (or eligibility)
- Pass NCLEX-RN examination (or scheduled within 3 months)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
