Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Document patient assessments and care plans using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety regulations
- Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active RN license in Texas or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within last 12 months
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
