Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care measures
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of care
- Assist in emergency situations and respond to patient needs promptly
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Active Texas RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately upon hire)
- Recent nursing graduate or less than 1 year of experience
- BLS certification (required) and ACLS certification (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
