Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care utilizing clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and self-care management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active New York State RN license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Pass NCLEX-RN examination (or scheduled within 90 days)
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- No prior nursing experience required
