Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and support to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in electronic health systems.
- Educate patients and their families on post-care instructions, medication management, and health promotion.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New York State Department of Education.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in medical-surgical or critical care preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
