Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during overnight shifts with critical thinking and precision
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions using advanced telemetry systems and document electronic health records
- Lead emergency response protocols including rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor new staff through our peer-to-peer support program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS/ACLS certification with commitment to maintain
- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure overnight environments
- Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Passion for patient advocacy and continuous learning
