Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during overnight shifts in acute care settings
- Assess patient conditions and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care delivery
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid response activations
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Colorado
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure overnight environments
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
