Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatment procedures, and health monitoring
- Assess patient conditions and develop/execute individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Respond to emergencies and perform rapid assessments in high-pressure situations
- Mentor new staff and uphold departmental quality standards
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
