Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute/critical settings during night hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient status using advanced telemetry and assessment protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain electronic health records with HIPAA-compliant standards
- Preceptor new staff and mentor nursing students
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska
- BSN preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- 1+ years acute care or critical care experience
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced nocturnal workflows
