Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Precept new nurses and share clinical expertise during night shift
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license (required)
- BSN preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication abilities during night shift handoffs
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
