Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a 24/7 cardiac telemetry unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and interpret EKG rhythms
- Document patient assessments and care plans in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide patient/family education on cardiac conditions
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment interventions
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Minimum 1-year acute care experience
- Telemetry monitoring proficiency
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient conditions
