We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to help us maintain our standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to detect changes in clinical status promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Develop and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning.
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond immediately to code blue alerts and emergency situations during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
