Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on the nursing process.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license issued by the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
