Responsibilities
- Compassionate Patient Care: Assess, monitor, and evaluate the condition of patients during the night shift, ensuring high-quality care around the clock.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Critical Response: Rapidly assess and respond to medical emergencies, utilizing advanced clinical judgment and life-saving interventions.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to coordinate care plans and provide updates.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, clinical notes, and shift reports.
- Support & Advocacy: Act as an advocate for patient rights and comfort, ensuring a safe and healing environment.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Washington.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with specific experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology: Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
