Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across med-surg, telemetry, and critical care units during overnight hours
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in Epic EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Respond effectively to emergent situations and prioritize critical interventions
- Mentor new nurses and uphold hospital safety protocols during low-staffing periods
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN degree or enrollment in accredited BSN program
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience with night shift preference
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and telemetry monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
