Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients overnight, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care during off-hours
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical patient events
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Lead patient education initiatives for overnight procedures and care protocols
- Supervise LPN/CNA staff and delegate tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
