Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in critical care units, emergency departments, and general wards
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants during shifts
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid NYS Registered Nurse license (RN)
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Expertise in critical care, telemetry, or emergency nursing
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and crisis management skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
