Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor and respond to patient changes with rapid intervention protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for comprehensive care planning
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Maintain strict infection control and safety standards
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs during shift operations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license
- BSN preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
