Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced night shift environment
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Lead emergency response protocols during critical situations
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree with 2+ years clinical experience (ADN with 5+ years considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Previous night shift experience in acute care setting
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
