Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations during overnight hours
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care coordination
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Mentor new staff and uphold facility safety protocols during night shifts
- Participate in emergency response procedures and rapid response activations
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license (Compact License preferred)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced overnight care environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
