Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU/Stepdown units during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Monitor critical patients using advanced telemetry systems
- Implement emergency protocols for acute situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EPIC)
- Mentor new nurses and support team development
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (compact state eligible)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications with current status
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- EPIC EHR proficiency
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
