Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute/critical care settings during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Mentor junior staff and uphold Denver Health's evidence-based practice standards
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for seamless patient data management
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- 1+ years acute care nursing experience in hospital setting
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Strong communication abilities for effective patient/family interactions
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced overnight environments
